PERRC Chairman Honored with Dual Awards for Exemplary Achievements

On June 14 and June 18, 2024, our esteemed Chairman, Robert Gerard L. Nazal Jr., received two prestigious awards in recognition of his outstanding contributions. Robert was honored with the Outstanding Rotarian Award and the Men & Women of Purpose Award, celebrating his significant impact on nation-building, livelihood creation, and the promotion of "Bayanihan" in the Philippines.

The Outstanding Rotarian Award was presented during a ceremony at the Arete Theater of the Ateneo De Manila University. This award recognizes Rotarians who have demonstrated exceptional service and dedication to their community. Robert’s efforts in fostering unity and cooperation, alongside his leadership in various social initiatives, have set a high standard for community service.

The Men & Women of Purpose Award was conferred at a distinguished event held at the Indonesian Embassy. This award honors individuals who have made meaningful contributions to society through their professional and personal endeavors. Robert's work in promoting sustainable livelihood projects and his unwavering commitment to social causes were highlighted as key reasons for his recognition.

Both awards were received on Robert's behalf by his son, Rob Nazal, reflecting the family's continued dedication to their shared values and community service. Robert's achievements serve as an inspiration to many, underscoring the importance of leadership, dedication, and a commitment to the greater good.
